Sézane is taking its next step into fragrance. The French fashion brand has unveiled Le Parfum Sézane, which it presents as its first perfume, created with French perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur.
It follows L’Eau Sézane, the airy eau de toilette the brand introduced in 2015, which has become something of a signature for its devotees. Where L’Eau is light and fresh, Le Parfum is designed to be feminine, deep and enveloping, and it comes in a bottle with a distinctive, sculptural shape.
The fragrance is fruity and woody. It opens with soft notes of pear before revealing a heart of ambrette, a plant-based musk, and orris butter. Cashmere wood adds warmth, while sandalwood extends the trail, leaving a warm, lasting scent on the skin.
