The Danish rainwear brand and the Florentine espresso-machine maker team up on a bespoke Linea Mini, a waterproof barista apron and a dedicated coffee blend.

On paper, a Danish rainwear label and an Italian espresso-machine manufacturer have little in common. In practice, Rains and La Marzocco share a devotion to function, craftsmanship and industrial design, and that shared ground is the starting point for their new limited-edition collection. The centerpiece is a bespoke version of La Marzocco’s Linea Mini. Hand-built in Florence, it has a brushed stainless-steel body with a matte finish that nods to Rains’ signature materials, and its pared-back look borrows from the Danish brand’s HOME AWAY collection, its headquarters and its store interiors.
The rest of the collection consists of a barista apron cut from Rains’ matte waterproof PU fabric, an Italian-made porcelain cappuccino cup and saucer, and HOME BOUND, a coffee blend developed with Danish roaster La Cabra. The result is more than a logo swap. These are objects as suited to a home kitchen as to a specialty café.
