Ysé x Moismont: A Lunch in Normandy

September 30, 2026

Some collaborations feel less like a business decision and more like two old friends finally being introduced. Ysé and Moismont, two French houses we have long admired, have come together this autumn for a collection that carries the quiet spirit of the countryside.

Ysé was founded in Paris in 2012 by Clara Blocman, with the simple intention of accompanying women through every season of their lives. What began with lingerie has grown into a wardrobe of swimwear and ready-to-wear built around a single silhouette, shaped by careful cuts, fine materials and an all-female team. Moismont, founded the same year by Martine Bijvoet, takes its name from her family estate in Picardy. Designed in France and made alongside artisans in India, its scarves, clothing and home textiles are hand-woven, block-printed and naturally dyed, and often signed and numbered, a meeting point between orchard rows and the colors of somewhere far away.

The Ysé x Moismont collection brings the two together in soft knits, short skirts, printed bodysuits and a generous quilted bag in checks, pieces that feel made for long walks through the orchards as the weather turns.

To celebrate, the two brands gathered a small group of inspiring women for an intimate lunch at Domaine de Primard in Normandy, hosted by Laszlo Badet, the chef, model and former Chanel seamstress whose cooking has always been as much about storytelling as taste. It was a moment set apart from the everyday: a long table, good food, and nature as the thread running through the entire afternoon. Guests discovered the collection not on a rail or in a showroom, but in the setting that seems to have inspired it.

We have always been drawn to both houses for the same reasons. Ysé designs for women as they are, with a softness that never feels like compromise. Moismont treats craft with patience and color with joy. Seeing them side by side, around a table in the Normandy countryside, felt entirely right.
